Every account you refer needs to remain active for more than 30 days, also
our payment threshold is currently set at £50, so after these referrals have
been active over 30 days and you have reached the minimum payment threshold,
we'll send out a check on the next pay run.

Yes! Our Affiliate Program offers advertisers and everyday webmasters the
ability to earn £5 for each and every sale sent our way. Once your referred
accounts have been active over 30 days, we send you a cheque during the next
immediate pay period.
When you join the
program we issue you an affiliate link. This link will be something like
http://www.factelstudio.co.uk?aff=yourcode and will be your connection between
all clicks and sales made under the program.
When you're ready to refer someone, give them your link. It will redirect
them to factelstudio.co.uk where they can purchase hosting like normal. Your
£5 commission will then automatically and immediately show up in your
affiliate stats.

Normally, we only pay via cheque. However, we do understand that many of
our international affiliates will not be able to easily cash a UK Cheque. So,
for those of you who require alternative payment options, we offer to pay via
PayPal and bank/wire transfer, but only in increments of £50 or more. Please
contact us if you require PayPal or a bank/wire transfer

Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot apply your accumulated commissions
towards any discounts on hosting.

Every affiliate is provided with an Affiliate Tracking URL (or link) upon
signup. It will look something like this, http://www.factelstudio.co.uk?aff=yourcode,
This link has a cookie attached to it, which remembers your unique affiliate
code. When a customer clicks your link, the cookie is stored in their browser
and follows them all the way to the signup page. After they purchase hosting,
your commission of £5 magically appears in your affiliate stats! This is an
automatic and immediate process that tracks every single sale you make.

Our minimum payout is £50. This means that in order to receive a cheque,
we now require every affiliate to make at least 5 sales before payout. We hope
this will not be an inconvenience for all of you and really hope that it will
instead offer some motivation to reach 5 sales within our system. We wish you

No. We do not allow self-referrals in our program, as per our terms of
service. We do manual self-referral checks once/month to assure nothing slips
through the cracks, and if we do find a self-referred commission, we will
simply delete it. A self-referral consists of a matching billing and affiliate
name/address.

No you are not required to place a link, banner, or affiliate logo! If you
simply want to refer your friends, family, co-workers, or clients via
face-to-face or online interactions, simply provide them with your Affiliate
Tracking URL and have them click on it prior to purchase.
However, we do recommend you place the factel studio' logo or link on your
site if you receive targeted traffic from webmasters, designers, etc, who may
be interested in web hosting from factel studio. That way, if someone decides
to signup via your website, you'll receive a pleasant £5 surprise for your
secret referral!

A qualified commission is any sale you refer to us, which:
- was referred via your Affiliate Tracking URL
and which does not
- have a coupon attached to it
- have another affiliate's name attached to it
- include Reseller accounts, renewals, or add-ons like Dedicated IPs,
extra domain names, JSP, etc.
In short, any new hosting account, which you refer our way earns a
qualified commission. :)

No. At this time, we only offer commissions on new accounts
purchased with factel studio. Renewals, add-on domains, sub domains, and extra
add-ons like JSP, Dedicated IPs, ASP, etc, are not eligible for commissions.

The whole process is as automated as possible, so once you make a sale, an
email is generated to the address we have on file in our affiliate backend.
This email contains the subject of “Commission Notification – Factel Studio”
and is sent via affiliate@factelstudio.co.uk, so be sure to whitelist that
address. If you don’t see the sale show up immediately in your affiliate stats
and email, write to
affiliate@factelstudio.co.uk so we can look into the occurrence for you.

We send checks once/month to the address we have listed on file in our
affiliate backend. This is the same as what you see when you login to your
affiliate stats here.
If you need to update your address, please visit the link above and login
using your affiliate username/password, which was provided to you in your
Affiliate Welcome Email.

No! The great thing about our Affiliate Program is that it's incredibly
easy to make your first £5...then another £5...another!
All you need to do is be honest about our services. If you enjoy our web
hosting, your parents, friends, teachers, students, associates, co-workers,
and acquaintances are sure to love it as well. Refer just 2 people and you
have made £10 for yourself. Refer 4 and that’s £20!

Nope! The nice thing about the Affiliate Tracking URL is that it will track
your clicks, sales, and commissions from any website at any time. When you
login to your affiliate stats, just click on the “overview” tab to see where
each individual click and sale originated.

Of course. While we’d love to be the only web host on your review site or
the only recommended host you are affiliated with, the best reviews and
recommendations are the honest ones. Having several sites listed, even our
competitors, is perfectly fine.
